Profile
International experience and fluency in English are mandatory for the required collaboration. Knowledge in computational analysis, PCR/Sequencing and cell culture are mandatory. This project potentially includes handling with animals (mice) and patient material.
Position
The work will be located at the laboratory of Jürgen Kuball (Department of Hematology and Laboratory of Translational Immunology) in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Our research group is strongly interested in the regulation of immune responses after allogeneic stem cell transplantation. One of the aims of the Kuball group is to discover the role of T cell receptor repertoires as well as inflammatory signatures in tissues by next generation sequencing methods. The candidate postdoc will be expected to generate NGS en RNAseq data from patient material and dissect signatures of inflammation and anti leukemia responses by computational analyses. This is a postdoc research position for a person who is highly motivated, has an outstanding track record in the laboratory, has experience in molecular biology and has the ability to apply techniques to solve “big data” problems. The main focus of the project will be computational analysis.
The salary for this position(100%) is € 4.111,00 gross per month based on full-time employment (working week 36 hours).
This job is based on a temperary position for 4 years.
